ANNOUNCEMENTS ST. JAMES' 2007 CALENDARS (donated by Cochran's Funeral Home) have arrived. Please pick up a copy in the Narthex. COLLECTING 2007 CALENDARS for the Seamen's Institute. All donations must be received by January 14th and will be brought to Diocesan Convention on January 20th . There is a collection box in the Parish Hall. If you have any questions, please speak with Russ Worthington. FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE is looking for suggestions for fundraisers. This year will be more of a challenge for us. Any ideas you may have will be greatly appreciated. At the same time we are looking for your comments regarding last year's events. What you liked or disliked? Of course, we are always looking for volunteers. There is a suggestion box in the Parish Hall for your responses. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS We have recently completed two additional Capital Improvement Projects at St. James'. The steeple roof was replaced, the steeple fence was dismantled, repaired and painted, the spires on the steeple have been stabilized and recovered. Special thanks to Dawn Modugno for chairing the steeple repair project. Additionally, the new upper railings on the front steps of the church been installed and the new railing for the chapel steps should be installed in the near future. Our special thanks to all who donate to the Capital Improvement Fund (blue envelopes). It is those donations that make these repairs and improvements possible. FAMILY BREAKFAST Today in the Parish Hall. All are invited! This will be our last breakfast in the Parish Hall before demolition. ANNUAL MEETING Sunday, January 21st . One service only at 9:00 AM in the Parish Hall followed by the Annual Meeting. Please come to church in work clothes and help us prepare our Parish Hall for demolition. COMMITTEE ANNUAL REPORTS Committee Chairs please prepare your 2006 Annual Reports for our parish meeting on January 21st . All reports are due by Wednesday, January 10th . Linda asks that you please have your reports in on time! SPONSORS for Altar Flowers, Sanctuary Candle and Spiritual Bouquet are still needed. Please consider being a flower sponsor one Sunday. We still need flower donors for January 21, February 4, February 11, March 18th , April 29, May 5, June 17 and June 24th . Please call the office if you would like to sponsor one of these Sundays. PLEDGE CARDS If you have not returned your 2007 pledge card, we ask that you complete your card and return at your earliest convenience.
