ANNOUNCEMENTS SOUPER BOWL FOR CARING While you prepare to cheer on your favorite team and watch kooky commercials on Super Bowl Sunday, why not help those in need in your community? Our youth group members will be standing at the back of church on February 4th with soup pots taking donations which will be sent to a local soup kitchen to help those in need. Thank you for your support! COMMITTEE CHAIRS please remember to check your folders on the back porch of the Mitcham House periodically and pick up correspondence and items left for your attention. ST. JAMES' 2007 CALENDARS (donated by Cochran's Funeral Home) have arrived. Please pick up a copy in the Narthex. FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE is looking for suggestions for fundraisers. This year will be more of a challenge for us. Any ideas you may have will be greatly appreciated. At the same time we are looking for your comments regarding last year's events. What you liked or disliked? Of course, we are always looking for volunteers. There is a suggestion box in the Parish Hall for your responses. ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected for the Ministries and Missions of St. James'. Any type of aluminum can is acceptable. Cans should be crushed and deposited in the collection container (trash can) behind the Mitcham House. Every little bit helps, get your work place involved, your friends and neighbors too. If you can not deliver, we can pick up, just call Barbara White @732-644-7499 or email @ barbarawhite_7@msn.com . Thanks for your support. ANNUAL MEETING Today after the 9:00 AM service in the Parish Hall. Immediately following the Annual Meeting we will start moving the items from the Parish Hall to the Mitcham House in preparation for demolition. Hope you wore your work clothes and plan on staying! SPONSORS for Altar Flowers, Sanctuary Candle and Spiritual Bouquet are still needed. Please consider being a flower sponsor one Sunday. We still need flower donors for February 4, February 11, March 18, April 29, and May 5. Please call the office if you would like to sponsor one of these Sundays. PLEDGE CARDS If you have not returned your 2007 pledge card, we ask that you complete your card and return at your earliest convenience. Additional pledge packets are available in the narthex (along with pledge envelopes for those who have requested them).
