ANNOUNCEMENTS

HOLY BAPTISM This morning we welcome Erin Eliza Corry, daughter of Angie & Adam Corry, into the Body of Christ.

CORNERSTONE The laying of the cornerstone for the Open Doors Parish Hall will be part of the 9:00 AM service next week, Sunday, July 1. Please join us for this exciting event, complete with refreshments.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER articles for the July/August issue of The Journal are due tomorrow, Monday, June 25 th . Please send your articles via email to news4stjames@comcast.net

KEEPING COOL During these summer months, bottled water will be available in the Narthex and Chapel. For our senior citizens and adults who find it difficult to cope with the heat during the summer months, there are a limited number of paper fans available. Please ask the usher for a fan.

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE begins next week, Sunday, July 1 st . One service only at 9:00 AM. Please make a note of this change! Iced tea and refreshments will be served on the front lawn, weather permitting, after the service.

CHURCH OFFICE will be closed June 25 th to July 2 nd . Administrator on Vacation. Phone messages will be checked periodically. Pastoral Emergency, please call the Rector's office at 908.850.4549.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS will begin the week of July 9 th . Parish Administrator will be in the office Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

FUNDRAISING

ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected. Cans should be crushed and deposited in the trash can on the side of the Mitcham House. Questions: just call Barbara White @732-644-7499 or email @ barbarawhite_7@msn.com .

4TH OF JULY AMERICANA CELEBRATION St. James will be participating in the 4 th of July Celebration again this year. We will be selling novelty ice cream and water. The celebration takes place in Footbridge Park off 94 in Blairstown from 11 am – 5 pm, July 4 th . We need a couple of folks to help, especially with set up and clean up. If you can help, please speak with Barbara White.
