ANNOUNCEMENTS WELCOME This morning we offer a big welcome back to the Rev. Abby Hamilton who is worshipping with us this morning. We hope Rev. Hamilton enjoys being with us as much as we enjoy having her here! PARISH LIFE COMMITTEE meeting Wednesday, October 3, 7:30 pm in the Chapel. For all leaders of committees and other people interested in our common life and how we coordinate ministries and events, as well as creative ideas. NURSERY CARE VOLUNTEER is needed for the 4 th Sunday of each month. Please consider volunteering once a month, or find a partner and you will only have to volunteer once every two months. Questions: speak with Chika Okoye or call the church office 908.852.3968. COFFEE HOUR NEEDS NEW LEADERSHIP and we are open to creative ways of doing this. We imagine a team of two people coordinating the "eighth sacrament." They would be responsible for recruiting individuals, families or church groups to host coffee hour for a Sunday, three (sometimes four) Sundays per month, and for devising the way coffee hour is done. We need the leaders and the plan to begin on October 10th. Please contact the church office to let us know you are the person(s) we are looking for! YOUR SR. CHOIR WANTS YOU!! We are always looking for new singers to join our fun! If you are a guy or girl, man or woman, from high school age up, please consider joining the Senior Choir. We rehearse Thursdays from 7:30 – 9:00 PM in the church!!! Speak with Pam Laura. “OPEN DOORS” LOGO CONTEST open to all ages. Must contain the words “Saint James” and “Open Doors”. Limited to two colors. Must be able to fit on coffee mugs, travel mugs, glassware and apparel. Submit your entries to the Fundraising Committee no later than September 23 rd . FUNDRAISING INNISBROOK GIFT WRAP SALE The Fundraising Committee is sponsoring a gift wrap and candy sale. The sale began August 19 th and will run until Sunday, September 24 th . Please take a book and consider selling to your co-workers, friends and family. Questions: speak with Ellen Infante. BOTTLE BRIGADE The Fundraising Committee is now saving 20 oz. SODA bottles (no water bottles, please) to redeem for cash. Collection container on the Mitcham House porch. ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected. Cans should be crushed and deposited in the trash can on the side of the Mitcham House.
